Join our call to ban polystyrene bodyboards

Over 16,000 cheap polystyrene bodyboards are discarded on UK beaches annually. These boards often snap and become unusable within minutes of use. When discarded, polystyrene crumbles into small white polystyrene balls, threatening our natural environment.

In 2016 the Keep Britain Tidy Ocean Recovery Project collected over 600 of these boards on just 3 beaches, and last year we collected 463 from just ONE beach.

Let's put a stop to needless throwaway bodyboards and put the planet first.

The Keep Britain Tidy Ocean Recovery Project along with @plasticfreenorthdevon & @plasticfreetorridge have created a petition to ban the sale of these cheap single-use boards.
